To represent the rugged but beautiful Sonoran Desert as well as an upscale dining experience, I combined the classic image of a fork and knife on a plate with the saguaro cacti and the McDowell Mountain range. Although classy, the restaurant is a welcoming space; this is conveyed using a warm serif in the logotype. The worn texture unifies the logo and logotype, allowing the elements to live together or on their own.
